If you have any other Child Care Experience we should know of, please describe them
I have a large family and there are 4 kids in my family. I am like the babysitter of my family, so I have spent a lot of time with my little cousins. For example, I take care of them when my cousins are busy, I play with them during the family meeting and I like to teach them the games that I played when I was younger.

Moreover, working as a teacher I have had the opportunity to share some special moments with the students. For example, I was in a class and we are learning with the kids, the days of the week in English, so, as part of an activity, I asked the children what was their favorite day of the week and one of them answer “ teacher, my favorite day of the week is Thursday because it is the day of your class” and I was very grateful for that answer. Another example, in my work at home I met a girl named Maria, who had specials needs, that was what her mother said to my mom and me, so, Maria’s mother told us that she needed to learn to read because she already was 7 years old, so we began a teaching process to read, we use the phonic method of teaching reading and nowadays Maria can read many words and write them too.

If you have any other areas of knowledge or skills, please describe them below:
I know how to knit small stuffed animals, keychains, and hair ties in crochet. I learned this beautiful art from my aunt. In the beginning, it was so difficult for me but my aunt was very patient, she taught me what it takes to start knitting, and now when I’m going to create something new I just look for a tutorial on Youtube. My favorite small creation is the baby jellyfish keychain. I love it because it is so cute.
I love handicrafts and painting. In the teaching practice handicrafts with paper, play dough, and cardboard among other materials, are very useful tools to teach and children enjoy them very much. One of the things that I enjoy painting is the Mandalas, I like to paint them in books or on walls. I painted a big mandala on my bedroom wall.

Please describe your hobbies
When I am in my free time, I like to work out with my sister. We can share this time in the gym 4 or 5 days a week. I really enjoyed doing this activity because it is gratifying to feel strong and healthy. Also, my friends and I love to go jogging together. I have participated in some running races, just for having fun and I loved those experiences. I feel happy when I do something related to the arts, such as painting or knitting. The activity that I most enjoy doing is listening to music. I am not a good singer but I like to interpret the song lyrics and enjoy every minute of the song, dancing, and singing. Finally, I really love spending time with my family. We share time doing different activities, such as cooking, dancing, or talking about memories.
